ah nice to have a day off...did a lot of

sleeping

...woke up late (fell asleep on the couch and hubby kicked me off about an hour later...)...and then took a nice long nap in the late afternoon...guess my body needed the sleep since I usually only take 60-90 min naps...this one was 3 hours!

made okonomiyaki for dinner...yum!

still not quite sure that it was monday we just did...these long weekends play with my inner clock, though hubby is looking forward to a 4 day work week instead of 5.

Day off? Did nothing.

Ok well not technically true. Went for a run in the morning. Then did nothing until dinner. Grilled brauts for dinner, first attempt wasn't too bad. They were actually fairly decent.

Nap? Ya I could have used one yesterday. Still trying to get over this darn cold or allergies or whatever. Finally winning but I would definitely love a nap or two.

its allergies...the mold count is really really high (my face feels like it has cotton stuffed into it)....and with the high humidity, its going to be around a while.

they make me really tired and sluggish...so I nap.

Hasn't been acting like my allergies though, been acting much more like a cold. With the changes in temp it wouldn't surprise me. We have been having 30 degree shifts between night and day. 65 at night, 95 during the day, can definitely mess with a lot of things and cause a cold.

Naps would be great, too bad I don't take them anymore...

well my allergies are really bad this summer....and the mold count is very very high--so some of what you feel might be that. (along with the cold).

cant wait for the first frost to clear some of the [email protected] out of the air (and kill some of those dang flying biting bugs!).

First frost? I would just like to see consistent low 70's, upper 60's weather. Instead we continue to see 95 degree weather. Today is only supposed to be 85 though.

been cooler the last day or so, nice since I have lots of cleaning to do...had the balcony door open and the a/c didnt come on!

Ya been a lot cooler here as well. Supposed to go back to the 80's by Tuesday or Wednesday, but I'll take that over 90 degrees.

I reloaded the pages and the warnings (both chrome and firefox) are gone for me..perhaps clear your cache?

I have no cookies...malice took them all

and UK winter???? a bit of rain and perhaps temps about freezing---pffft!....try temps BELOW freezing for weeks, snow up to your knees and windchills in the BELOW 0 (F).....THAT is winter. (though when you get temps that dont get above 0 for a few weeks that is worse..so the friends up north have it when you talk about winter).

finished cleaning for the inspections...dang there is a lot of dust in places I have never seen! and yeah, it annoyed my allergies....I have my box of puffs right here!

Yes, security. I seem to remember seeing something about one of these databases being broken into and usernames and passwords stolen. But that might have been on Guru2 or somewhere else maybe. Idk.

oy, didnt sleep well last night, and this morning...OY! even WITH the allergy meds I am sneezing and coughing up a storm...we did a lot of cleaning yesterday (got the dryer guy coming today...) and I was a bit congested last night, but this morning is horrible!!

and the mold count is still....too high for me to want to leave my house

I need one of those plastic bubble houses where there is nothing that you can be allergic to, so I can decongest for a few ...days...and possible get some sleep...

I hear the sleeping thing cosy. I slept like crap last night as well. Probably got a total of 2 hours of sleep. Awesome considering I work all day with kids. Plus today was a crappy day. So ya, not a fun Monday...
